About Me
I’m an academic and arts editor with a PhD in Art and Visual Culture from Western University, supported by a SSHRC Doctoral Award. With over a decade of experience in research, writing, and the visual arts, I specialize in supporting scholars and arts professionals to articulate complex ideas into clear and compelling writing.
What I Do
I have secured multiple competitive grants and produced research-creation projects myself, which grounds my work in direct experience with the intellectual and practical demands of academic and artistic work.
What I Do
I recognize that writing projects unfold at different tempos. Some call for open, exploratory editing, while others need close, exacting attention to refine the existing material.
My process is straightforward, collaborative, and adaptable to the needs of your project.
You share your project and we identify your goals.
We determine the level of editing needed and timeline.
I work with Track Changes in Word or Suggestion mode in Google Docs, while adding comments where needed.
You revise based on my edits and I provide clarifications to any questions you might have.
I can do one last proof to ensure accuracy and polish.
All projects are treated with confidentiality. Your ideas and drafts remain private, handled with discretion and respect.
